On Saturday, January 16th, 8 super rad local bands get together at The Belmont in Hamtramck, to raise money for Gleaners Community Food Bank, the United States 3rd largest food bank. Now, more than ever, Gleaners needs the helping hand of it’s community to ensure children and their families have food to eat this winter. Every dollar donated to Gleaners is equivalent to 3 meals, so just by coming to the show you are providing 18 meals for Metro Detroiters!
In March ’08, this same benefit raised $1300 for hungry Metro Detroiters. And we are hoping, with the sponsorship of Russell Street
Deli, to raise more the second time around!
